During Electrolysis Treatment

Your intensive electrolysis session is not a walk in the park; it is a long and taxing treatment for mind and body, and you need to be ready for it.
Dress comfortably, as you will be lying on a table for a number of hours for your session. We will do our best to make your treatment as pleasant as possible, with neck pillows, back pillows, and other accessories to make your time in the chair less uncomfortable.
Usually, when first starting treatment, you will have two electrologists working in your personal space for a few hours, so prepare yourself for a lot of “human contact.”
We encourage our clients to listen to their media with earbuds for entertainment, as lying down without movement for hours is pretty dull.
If you need a break to use the restroom or just stretch, don’t hesitate to tell us, and we will stop for a quick break.

We know that our clients come to us in various stages of transition, and we desire to provide an accepting environment where you will feel comfortable and safe.

As to how many treatments are necessary, you are likely to require between 10 and 14 treatments of intensive electrolysis. The total number of sessions needed to remove hair permanently from a particular area will vary from person to person. This is because the hair follicle is the only organ in the human body that can regenerate even after a removal process. Each follicle has a three-stage growth: anagen (growing phase); catagen (transitional phase); telogen (the resting phase). We recommend a period of 6 - 8 weeks between treatments.
